I was writing to get some enlightenment about the Moroccan saint, Moulay Idris.

1.) Was he a Zaydi imam? Is this well known?

2.) If so, are there any records of him instituting Zaydi fiqh among the berbers? For example, did he establish the "hayya ala khayrul amal" in the adhan in the maghrib?

3.) Are there any surviving Zaydi communities in the maghrib now?

4.) Are there any surviving texts from Idris b. Abdallah or his sons?
