Mystic كتب:By them I wanted to ask what is the ruling on divorce in the Zaydi fiqh ? Is it similar to the Hanafi fiqh or does a divorce happen after 3 periods like Imam Jafar as Sadiq (as) stated ?
Divorce in the Zaydi fiqh and the Imami fiqh is the same.The same rules are followed.. They say that divorce takes place at the 1st time the husband utters the ward "taliq" or "i divorce you".. What comes after that is just meaningless wards because she is not his wife anymore.. This ward has no power on a strange woman, unless they remarry again
